Could you give time to support John Whalley Charity (Whalley’s Charity)?

This local charity was established in 1670 to provide financial support to poor children to help them learn a trade through apprenticeships. It continues to provide essential support young people aged 16-25, who live in the parishes of Stony Stratford, Cosgrove and Old Stratford.

Applications are welcomed from 16-25 year olds who are eligible for a grant of between £100-£150 to support technical and vocational training.

Trustees Are Needed

If you would like to connect with your community while broadening your skills and perspective join the small board of trustees and make a difference. After a small amount of pre-reading, applications take approximately 20 minutes to consider

Meetings take place every quarter in Stony Stratford Library
