West Somerset Bowls League 2024

With the start of the 2024 WSBL season only a week away I thought I would clarify a few points.

All club contacts should have the latest list of other club contacts. If you require a copy, in the first instance please approach your WSBL club contact.

Please can both the home and away team ensure that results are emailed ASAP after the end of the match to enquiries@wsbl.org.uk

I will then populate the results website https://www.bowlsresultstwo.co.uk/westsomerset/

Each club should now have their own login which will enable you to populate the results yourself? At first, please allow the league secretary to populate the league website, once it has been going a couple of weeks and looks OK, I will invite the home teams to start entering the match scores. But I will still require both the home and away team to email me the result for verification purposes.

The easiest way of sending the result is by scanning and emailing the three rink scorecards. If you cannot do this, I just need you to send each rink score. The website will calculate everything else.

Finally, please remember the rule change for the odd occasion a rink only has two players. The rink with two players loses a third of their shots as before, but rounded up or down to the nearest whole number.
