Ryan Dickinson Plumbing - Meet The Team

Profiles

Ryan Dickinson

Ryan founded the Company in June 2003 as a sole trader working from his van.  With over 25 years knowledge and experience of the construction industry Ryan is fundamental to the company and it’s him you’ll see first if you require a home visit for a quotation.

Ryan is Oftec registered and qualified to work on all oil fired central heating systems.  As he’s no spring chicken anymore, he cannot be on the tools permanently with those knees, therefore he can sometimes be found working from the comfort of his own office, just don’t expect to see him at work during The Cheltenham Festival in March!

Will Stephens

Joining Ryan in 2005, Will is qualified to NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and holds a Hot Water Systems & Safety Certificate and can usually be found heading up our “Small Works”.  Will is also a very competent installer.

Being the second longest serving member of the team, just like Ryan Will is part of the furniture – a bit like your favourite old chair!  Will is the font of all knowledge for all Whitchurch drinking establishments!

Steve Hawkins

Steve is our principal bathroom fitter.  He comes with a wealth of experience and we are more than happy to boast that he is probably the finest bathroom installer in Hampshire.

His expertise means every job is finished to perfection and his craftsmanship is second to none.  Steve’s reputation is enviable in the trade and his work never disappoints.

Steve’s favourite catch phrase is “it’s not a problem” and it’s a saying that has been adopted by all the staff here.

Byran Dickinson

Byran is an Oftec Registered Engineer and is responsible for all our oil boiler servicing and commissioning.  With his eye for detail, artistic flair and creativity he’s the man for the finishing touches and cosmetics on bathroom installs.

Byran is the youngest member of the team and he’s pretty useful around the office too.  He is always looking at new ideas, keeps us in touch with the social networks and always ensures we are in the 21stcentury.

Andy Preston

Andy’s qualifications boast City & Guilds Craft Certificate and NVQ and Technical Certificate level 3 in plumbing and he is qualified to work on unvented hot water systems.  Andy is also Gas Safe registered and is our principal Gas Engineer.  He is also qualified to work on LPG.

Northern lad came south, there is no truth in the rumour that Andy was only employed because he’s originally from Leeds and Ryan is a Leeds United supporter!

Robert Brown

Rob is qualified with a NVQ Technical Certificate, an NVQ Level 2 Domestic Plumbing certificate and is Gas Safe Registered.   Rob has vast experience with all the peripheral aspects of plumbing too, such as tiling and carpentry.

If you are waiting for Rob to come and do a job and he is late, he’s probably lost!

Kelvin Leslie

Kelvin is the new boy; qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 in plumbing and currently studying for his Gas Certification.  His former career as an electrician is an enormous asset to the company and Kelvin hopes to further his electrical qualifications too. His self-motivation and enthusiasm are enviable. Kelvin’s lovely sense of humour and quick wit make him the joker of the team!

Connie Dickinson

When she’s not working on that amazing tan, Connie runs Ryan Dickinson Contract Services.   She offers Boiler Service Contracts to gas and oil users.  She is the key contact in the showroom and she manages all the job schedules.

Connie has the world’s best memory.  If you don’t know your own address, post code and phone number don’t worry, she’ll know!

Carrie Dickinson

Carrie is our Accounts Manager running a very busy sales and purchase ledger and managing all the company accounts.  If you’re late paying your invoice she’ll be on your case! A busy mum of 3 gorgeous boys she’s in a male environment permanently at home and at work.  Hats off to Carrie for coping with that!!!  Consequently Carrie has the patience of a saint.

Annie Dickinson

Annie joined the company early 2010 and she has helped to develop and expand the company through many changes.  She’s helped Ryan find the great team that we have on board today and she is confident that that this team will take the company from strength to strength and the excellent reputation that the company has will continue to grow.

Annie is responsible for everything that nobody else wants to do.  Washer of cups, emptier of bins, Cleaner of floors and purchaser of chocolate biscuits!
