Thorpe recreation Bowls Club is a small friendly club situated on the eastern side of Norwich. It has an outdoor green and operates only in the summer months. We participate in the Yare league, the Hansell's EBA league, Jermy, Cup, Bales Cup and Norwich Nine league. There are internal competitions as well .

We frequently host County games and touring teams.

We have about 100 members in the ratio 70 to 30 men and women. We have social members as well as playing members and we hold a number of social evenings throughout the year.

We have a bar, tea making and cooking facilities and we have one of the best greens in the County.
