- Sunday 4th January 2026 - Wildlife Group, New Year Plant Hunt 10am-1pm Clee St Margaret. Come and walk off Christmas calories, and contribute to a botanical survey at the same time. For some years the Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland has been enlisting volunteers to record flowers in bloom in mid-winter. The data collected is helping botanists understand the effects of climate change on native plant populations. We intend to check out the village hall grounds, the churchyard, part of Clee Liberty and some of the connecting lanes and paths. You don't have to be an expert in plant id - you could come just for the walk! There will be others who can identify plants, and share their knowledge.
