A planning application has been submitted to Medway Council by Turners Group, on behalf of the Parish Council. This is an outline application and will be subject to change on the basis of advice from Rural Kent, comments from residents and any grants that the parish council can add. (The planning application number is MC/18/3181 details).

If approved it will remove the existing portacabin changing rooms with proper facililities attached to the Pavilin and the old ones will be removed. A new hall would be built behind the existing small hall with room for community, social and sporting facilities (e.g. indoor carpet bowls) that will be shared with the residents of Allhallows Park (Kingsmead) and the residents and visitors to Allhallows. There is additonal car parking on a termacced area rather than gravel.

THE COUNTRY PARK/WILDLIFE ARE IS UNAFFECTED BY THESE WORKS.

The planning application for the additional 81 chalets at Allhallows Park (Kingsmead) is still being processed by Medway Council, but could go to their planning committee in December or January, This includes an s106 agreement to fund improvements at Cross Park for the benefit of their residents, and other residents and visitors to Allhallows.
