Hiring a meeting space
Alton Quaker Meeting House has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere and is a good venue for meetings and local community groups or private functions (but please note that smoking, alcohol and gambling are not permitted on these premises). It has three rooms and a basic kitchen for preparing light refreshments.
Outside there is a pleasant garden and burial ground surrounded by trees and also a small rear courtyard with table and chairs. Rooms are available at very reasonable rates per 3 hour session or per hour bookings (see table below).

The small kitchen is easily accessed from either of the larger rooms, and is suitable for preparing drinks and light refreshments. Use of the kitchen is included in the charge for rooms.
There are power points and movable seats in all rooms, and either curtains or blinds. The large room has an upright piano. Some on-street parking is usual possible next to the Meeting House, and two public car parks are close by.
All the rooms (except possibly the kitchen) and a toilet should be accessible to people with disabilities, including wheelchair users. Please discuss your particular needs with us.

There is a no smoking policy throughout the building and gambling or the use of alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
