Finals Day

"The sun, he got his hat on - hip, hip, hip hooray; the sun, he got his hat on for our annual Finals Day........"

Once again, a glorious day, both in terms of the weather and the tennis. Lots of very enjoyable, competitive matches of high standard. Well done all you finalists; thank you for entering the tournament, for entertaining us with some superb matches, and very many congratulations to all the winners!

Thank you to everyone involved including all entrants in our new round robin format, Sue Jones & Justin who organised the entire tournament, including Finals Day, all our Umpires, everyone who provided the sumptuous buffet, Judy for the (literally) endless cups of tea and coffee, Nigel for being our Official Photographer, everyone who helped clear up etc etc - too many to mention individually, but you know who you are.

A wonderful day and a fitting end to a superb Summer season - what a Summer it has been!
