Yesterday morning, Thames Valley Police briefed five hardy volunteers on how to use the Sentinel Speed Camera which will be used to capture details of vehicles speeding in our 30mph limit.

The camera will be in Ashendon until 25th February and we need to make good use of it. To do so we need more volunteers (any daylight hours and ideally rat run and school run hours) - it's a really simple job, there is nothing more to do than set up (and Richard Phillips has even offered to do that for you) and sit, in the warm confines of the bus shelter, to make sure the kit stays safe - the camera and it's memory card do everything else - you can even bring a flask, a book or a friend to chat with.

If you can help please let Sian Miller know:

or sian@impetus.co.uk

Please mention to friends and neighbours who perhaps don't use Facebook or eMail as I don't have time to door flyer this appeal :-)

Thank you

Sian Miller
