Hire the Village Hall
Our village hall is a welcoming, well-loved space at the heart of the local community. It’s ideal for small groups, clubs, family celebrations, and community events, offering a calm and friendly setting in our peaceful rural village.
The hall includes a bright 52m² main space with an adjoining 19m² rear hall, a well-equipped kitchen, and three toilets, including disabled access. The entrance is ramped, the hall is level throughout, and wooden floors run across the space. Chairs, tables, and crockery are provided to help make planning your event simple.

Fees
- Village residents £9.00 per hour
- Non-residents £14.00 per hour
- Half day rate (up to 4 hours) £52.00 with additional hours at £14 per hour
- Full day rate (up to 8 hours) £104.00 with additional hours at £14 per hour
To enjoy the village residents’ rate, the hall must be booked for an event by a resident of Askham Bryan who is also participating in that event and takes responsibility for complying with the hire conditions.
