Newcastle Central and West MP Chi Onwurah honoured the final with her presence.

In the third-place playoff, Cameroon defeated Nigeria 1–0.

The final between Ivory Coast and Eritrea was intense and closely contested. With the score level at 2–2 late in regular time, an Ivory Coast striker suffered a serious injury after being tackled in the penalty area. The match was abandoned as paramedics responded quickly and the player was taken to A&E.

Despite the unfortunate ending, the tournament successfully brought people from various backgrounds together, sharing in the joy of football, delicious food, and lively music.

Looking ahead, there’s hope that the next edition will be even bigger, better, and include participation from more nations.
