Meeting Format

The Parish Council meets in Astwood Village Hall, with the meeting starting at 8pm, with a normal running time of up to 2 hours.

The format of the meetings is aligned to a standard agenda, covering:

• Approval of previous meeting minutes;
• Apologies
• Declarations of Interest
• Public Question time
  • Public questions are limited to 15 minutes, with 5 minutes per speaker.  Members of the public may speak on matters appearing on the agenda.  If, however, an matter does not appear on the agenda, a written request should be sent to the Clerk no less than 2 working days prior to the meeting.
• Ward Councillor report
• Police Report
• Councillor Special Interest Group updates:
  • Traffic & Road Safety
  • Planning
  • Green Spaces
  • Finance
  • Village Hall team.
• Chairman's report
   
• In addition to the the standard agenda items, other matters may be added to the agenda as appropriate.
