The Astwood and Hardmead Village Hall is available as a resource to all members of the community.  

The hall is managed and maintained by a group of volunteers who work hard to keep the hall open; throughout the year the team arranges and runs a number of regular events, in addition to one-off activities, to generate funds to keep the lights on, the heating on, and the doors open!  These events include:

• Easter Egg Hunt
• Summer social event (BBQ)
• Coffee Mornings (every 2nd Sunday / month)
• Quiz nights
• Plant Sale (once / year, coinciding with a coffee morning)
• Hallowe'en childrens trick or treat event.

In addition to the hall itself, which has a large floor area, seating and male / female toilet facilities, the following amenities are available

• A fully equipped kitchen, with tea urn, microwave, airfryer and diswasher
• a table tennis table
• a snooker table
• a large monitor on a stand (with soundbar).
