Audlem Traffic Issues – We Need Your Help

Audlem Parish Council continues to work with Cheshire East Council and Cheshire Constabulary to address the ongoing traffic issues affecting our village.

We understand the frustration and concerns residents are experiencing, and we want to reassure you that these issues are being taken seriously. However, to make meaningful progress, we need your help to build a clear picture of the problems and demonstrate the impact they are having on our community.

The consequences go beyond traffic congestion and inconvenience. They affect the health, safety and wellbeing of residents, while the continued damage to roads and other infrastructure places additional pressure on already stretched budgets, leaving limited funds for essential repairs, let alone improvements.

At a recent October Police Liaison Meeting, it was reaffirmed that traffic incidents and problems must be reported to the appropriate authority. Where incidents involve dangerous or careless, inconsiderate driving, video evidence and a willingness to provide a witness statement may be required to support police action.

The more incidents and concerns that are formally reported, the stronger the evidence we can present to the relevant authorities. This will help us demonstrate the scale of the problem, press for appropriate action and build the case for effective, long-term solutions.

Please do not assume that someone else has reported an incident. Your report could make a difference.

Working together, we can build the evidence needed to make Audlem's roads safer and protect our village and its residents.

How to report an issue

Please use the relevant guide below for step-by-step instructions.

Please take action!

We know that repeatedly encountering traffic problems can be frustrating, but simply discussing them is not enough. Formal reports create a record of what is happening, where it is happening and how frequently it occurs.

Please take a few minutes to report any relevant incidents or problems you witness, using the appropriate reporting route above.

Audlem Parish Council will continue to raise these concerns with Cheshire East Council and Cheshire Constabulary as we work towards practical, long-term solutions for our village.

Thank you for your support and for helping us make Audlem safer for everyone.
