Clarification on road closures

Cllr Rachel Bailey has received clarification from CE Highways regarding the roadworks below:

A525 Woore Road, closed until 16/5 to allow United Utility works - Cllr Bailey will liaise with United Utilities to see if they are working to their programme and if the duration can be completed sooner.

Coole Lane, closure 5/5 - 8/5 at Baddington, to allow vital drainage works.

Coole Lane, closure 11/5 - 14/5 to allow vital maintenance works - works are to be completed separately to ensure access to residents/businesses can be maintained via a diversion route due to differing locations of work along Coole Lane

A530 Whitchurch Road 4/5/26 - November 27, ongoing carriage way repairs- General notice of advanced works, dates to be confirmed when known via the usual permitting/notification route

Monks Lane Audlem, closure 4/5/26 - 27, to allow maintenance/improvements works.- General notice of advanced works, dates tbc when known via the usual permitting/notification route

Wrenbury Heath Road, Sound, closure 9/5/26 - 24/5/26, to allow rebuild of bridge parapet. - Network Rail works following a collision to take down and rebuild bridge parapet following a vehicle striking the bridge. approx 4 m long down below ground level. Continuous working.
