The Parish Council has written to the planning department regarding concerns raised by residents and Councillors in relation to the planning application below:

RE: 25/2194/OUTOutline Planning Application for a residential development of 116 dwellings (Inc. 35 affordable dwellings) with access included on land off Moorsfield Avenue & Tollgate Drive, Audlem

The following responses were received:

  • The Support team has checked that the system is working and accepting representations. Should any representations not appear on the website then residents should continue to contact the support team using the following e-mail address ceplanning@cheshireeast.gov.uk.
  • On some applications, where a large number of objections have been received, although the comments have been uploaded, residents are finding it difficult to locate their own comments within the list due to the volume received.
  • The postal address referenced is still live and representations which are submitted to this address are being uploaded to the website.
  • An application can be amended after it has been submitted, indeed the NPPF requires local planning authorities to work proactively with developers. Where an application has been amended it is up to the local planning authority to decide whether to accept the information and whether further publicity and consultation is necessary in the interests of fairness.
  • A substantial number of representations have been received regarding this application and the points which have been raised will be considered by the case officer.
