Speed Watch

During November, the Community Speed Watch team recorded 41 vehicles exceeding the speed limit. Some of these vehicles were found to have false number plates and were not up to date with their MOT or insurance coverage. (Please note that Audlem Speed Watch is unable to disclose further details about these vehicles.)

The Speed Watch team report their findings to Cheshire Police in Crewe, who then contact the owners of the recorded speeding vehicles and take the necessary actions.

The Speed Watch team are pleased to welcome three new volunteers to the team, and weather permitting, they anticipate being able to monitor more traffic in and out of Audlem.

The Community Speed Watch team is still seeking additional volunteers, so if anyone in Audlem can spare an hour a week, please contact George Mclaren-Brown on 07377623993 or gmacbrown@hotmail.com.
