About

Three Counties Model Railway Society About

Aylesbury and District Model Railway Club (Formerly known as Three Counties Model Railway Society ) is based near Aston Abbotts, approximately mid way between Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire and Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, and was founded in early 1998 by Peter Boyle  and Chris Meredith. The group expanded but had no dedicated working / storage space.

In 2010 Bill Hallam became a member and offered the society the use of a purpose built, 48ft x 24ft workshop as a club room which the society now meet and work in.

We have a large continuous run 7mm scale, DCC double track main line layout and an end to end 4mm DC  exhibition layout.

Our aim is to promote the hobby of Railway Modelling, bringing together individuals interested in Railway Modelling for their mutual benefit and enjoyment of the hobby.

To encourage and nurture modellers, whatever their age, level of experience or expertise by providing practical support and expert guidance, as appropriate, in all aspects of the hobby

Club nights are held on a Thursday evening and Friday afternoons.

We are always pleased to welcome new members to the society and would encourage you to visit us and see how friendly we are.
