The Men's club offers a variety of Bowls - Saturday & Thursday afternoons matches against other clubs in Leicestershire. These are commonly known as "Friendlies" (Social with an edge!) and are for all members. Just put your name down to show your availability & the respective Captain will pick the team.

We also have a number of internal club competitions: 

• Club singles championship (4 woods - first to 21)
• Two Wood (first to 18)
• Handicap (21 shots)
• Pairs (21 ends)
• Burdett Cup

There are also some mixed competitions:

• Open Championship
• Pairs
• Charity Shield

The Club also annually enters the local South Leicestershire  triples league with the aim to win the division.

• Tuesday evenings - South Leicestershire Triples league
• Thursday afternoon
• Saturday afternoon

In the Leicester City & District Parks competitions the club fields sides in the Bramley Bowls & Partridge Shield, as well as entering the associations individual competitions.

To get involved in the games, we put up in the clubhouse, availability sheets, for the whole season. Teams are selected 2 weeks before the match date, when team sheets are put up on the noticeboard. Players are requested to tick off on the list to confirm their availability. Competitive/representative teams are often picked following the end of the game, when availability is checked. League sides are picked on a best available or rota basis.
