In recognition of the end of WW1 and with a grant from our KCC Councillor for Rural Dartford, Cllr. Jeremy Kite, the Parish Council has arranged the purchase and installation of a Memorial to recognise all those who lost their lives in the service of their country

We are having a service of dedication, led by Rev Josh Young, Rector of Southfleet, at 2pm on 11th November to which you are warmly invited. This will be a short service of no longer than 15 minutes, and is not a Remembrance Day Service which will have taken place at 10.30 at St. Nicholas, Southfleet, but will give those present the opportunity to lay wreaths should they wish.

The memorial which will be installed on 1st November will be sited on the triangle of land between High Street and Shellbank. Parking will be available at the Village Hall.
