Beaumont Parish Council is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
This accessibility statement applies to beaumontparishcouncil.gov.uk website.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
(a) non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
PDF/Word documents attached within Local Information and Local History Sections of the website which were originally published in 2016. It is intended to update these documents into an accessible format.
These documents may not presently achieve accessibility standards due to, for example, the font size, type, colour, some of which are photographs of actual new articles of the time.
(b) disproportionate burden
Some documents are intentionally published as a photograph of the actual news article of the day and to alter them would inhibit the real time effect.
Where possible any article/document that readers find inaccessible can possibly be reproduced by the clerk, subject to available time and resources.

This statement will be reviewed and/or updated on or before 30 April 2027.
This statement is internally audited by the Parish Council in conjunction with .Gov.UK accessibility amendments.
