Tennis Courts & MUGA

Our Two Tennis Courts were resurfaced in September 2017 by Sovereign Sports Surfaces, the playing area is enhanced by additional sports marking for Basketball, Netball and two 5 a Side Football pitches. There is a full height Pitch Divider which allows both areas to be used simultaneously for different sports.

Funding for this improvement came from a number of sources and we must thank KCC Capital Grants Scheme for £5,000 which was match funded by the club with £5,000 from previous tennis income, Also KCC Combined Members Grant for the cost of the Basketball Posts at £1,520, The Parish Council for £3,000 and investing in this local amenity, We also acquired a 10 year interest free loan from the LTA of £6,000 and were blessed with a donation of another £6,000 from a local businessman.

Since the opening on 21st October 2017 by our local MP Sir Roger Gale the membership has continued to grow. We hope in time that the members will want to form their own Committee to liaise with the General Management Committee to make sure that Bowls and Tennis move forward together.
