I work in Chandlers Ford as a Sustainability Specialist for a major retail chain. I have a strong interest in the environment.
I am chair of Solent Running Sisters, a local women’s running club, and particularly enjoy coaching beginners. I am a very slow runner myself – and I love exploring the local trails on foot and on my mountain bike. I cycle to work most days."

I am employed as a programme manager for a national TV & Radio Broadcasting company, based in Winchester. Lindsey is a teacher with over 20 years experience teaching in the local area. Our daughter is studying for her nursing degree at Surrey University and our son is in 6th form at BP college in Eastleigh.
Having carried out the role of Hampshire County Councillor in Eastleigh, I hope to bring some useful experience to the role of Parish Councillor. It is a real privilege to have been elected as one of your councillors and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this local community."

Cllr Louise Parker-Jones
Lou has always been passionate about her home village, a place made special by both the local people and outstanding countryside. She was fortunate to grow up in Bishopstoke with a family very active in village life. Over the last 40 years she has seen it change, but the specialness has remained.
Lou cares deeply about what happens to Bishopstoke. Wishing to ensure that the River Itchen, ancient forest and woodland are protected for future generations she decided in early 2016 she should give something back by standing for the parish council. She was fortunate to be successfully elected in May 2016 as an independent candidate, free from party politics.
Lou has worked for many years within the public sector specialising in policy and strategy. In 2015 she received a distinction in her Master of Public Administration post-graduate degree. With a keen eye for governance and accountability she is looking forward to making the Parish Council more transparent and accessible to local people.
She is on the Finance & General Purposes Committee. She is also part of the Cemetery Working Group, the Standing Orders Working Group and the Travel Token Working Group.
