Bleasby Community Website
Bleasby Bikers is a road cycling club now affiliated to British Cycling with over 30 active members. It was set up originally by a group of dads eager to support Bleasby Primary School.
One Sunday a month two rides leave the Waggon & Horses, the earlier one a longer and faster route for the more experienced cyclist, and the other, usually away by 8am, will cover 30-40 miles at a more social pace. During the longer summer evenings there are training rides lasting a couple of hours, departing from the Waggon at 6.30pm on Thursdays. Longer club rides are arranged every couple of months.
We are keen to see new members from Bleasby and surrounding villages, and ladies are very welcome to join the club. Members will need a little experience as the shortest ride will be in the region of 25 miles at an average speed of 14-16 mph.
It's a great way to get to know others in the village and keep fit !
