Residents of Walford Heath have come out in force against the latest planning application in their village.

Many of them attended the last Parish Council's meeting at Bomere Heath Village Hall on 12th April to voice thier dismay at the lastest planning application. Walford Heath was orginally a community of 32 houses and in the last few years an additional 16 houses have been built or have been granted planning permission. This represents an increase of 50% houses in 3 years.

The current application of 4 houses just north of the village would bring the total to an additional 20 houses in Walford Heath. The parish council supported the resisdents and has objected to this latest application. The final decision is made by the planning department at Shrosphire Council and we do hope they support the residents and parish council in refusing this lastest application.
