Certificate of Appreciation

At a recent Business Meeting for Boroughbridge 98 Lions past President Paul Bullivant presented Lion Sue Johnson with a certificate of appreciation for her incredible work in establishing Boroughbridge Community Larder, together with Boroughbridge Community Care, a myriad of volunteers and of course Boroughbridge Methodist Church who have kindly provided a room in which to hold the Larder.

Under the inspirational leadership of Lion Sue and the generosity of various food outlets the Community Larder has grown from strength to strength. Having saved several tonnes of food and packaging from going into landfill and helping people within the area in this ever financially challenging time, this has been a fantastic example of what Lions is all about, serving people within their community.
