Local residents in Sandway and Platts Heath have recently been notified by Forestry England (FE) that it has purchased the former “Trinity” land for tree planting. The land purchased is around 130 hectares / 300+ acres and includes much of the land which was originally being looked at by Highways England for a lorry park / customs area.

A video of the new area, which is going to be called Pleasant Farm, although the entire area includes land which was originally known by other names, can be seen by following this link:
