Village Litter Pick
10:00am – 3:00pm
Details
Early Spring is a good time to think about tidying up the village after the worst of the winter weather is (hopefully!) over. A Litter Pick has therefore been arranged to take place on Sunday 29th March, meeting at the front of the Community Centre at 10.00am. Litter picking equipment will be provided and any rubbish collected should be brought back to the Centre for disposal in the on-site refuse containers.
Volunteers will be asked to pick a particular area of the village each, so we can cover as large an area as possible. There’s no minimum time, so even if you only have ½ hour to spare, this will still be a great help. Even if you can’t come along, it’s a great opportunity to focus attention on clearing up the areas where we live as part of a general village tidy-up.
We hope that residents of all ages will come along in sufficient numbers to enable us to really make a difference, and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day.
Any queries in the meantime, please call the Parish Council office on 01451 820712.
As usual, fingers crossed for fine weather…
