Such is the organisation of the MDL, that Bovey Tracey now found themselves in two finals at the same time with most of the same players! Clearly this could not happen and so in anticipation Bovey had three players on standby to accompany Chris Shorland should they reach the finals. Calls now went out to Terry England, Ian Howkins and Peter Martin to make up the rink. The oppositon were Marldon BC who were to prove too strong for our newly acquainted team and ran out winners by twenty one shots to twelve with Bovey conceding at nineteen ends.
