County Pairs Competitions

This is a reminder that the County Pairs matches for the Ladies and Mens events on Saturday 25th May 2019 will commence at 10:00am for the 1st Round Games and 2:00pm for the 2nd Round Games. Players should arrive and register before 9:45am for the 1st Round and before 1:45pm for the 2nd Round so that they are ready to commence play at the set times for the round. The top half of both events is at Heaton Hall Bowling Club and the bottom half of both draws is at Bolton Bowling Club.

County Team - Alsop

The Alsop Team manager is still looking for players to represent the County in the Alsop Competition this season. Nomination forms are available is your club or better still please contact the Alsop Team Manager (Peter Laundon) by e-mail at p.j.laundon@btinternet.com

This is the new website for Bowls Lancashire for the 2019 season onwards.

Bowls Lancashire is the organisation that runs the sport of Flat Green Bowling in the areas of Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.

The Clubs within this area are at Bolton, Heaton Hall (Manchester), Southport and Acton Bridge.

All the clubs offer play for members of any ability - from the raw beginner to those that aspire to be National Champions.

Each of the clubs and Bowls Lancashire are affiliated to the National Governing body - Bowls England.

Learn 2 Bowl

If you are new to the Sport and wish to give it a try then contact one of the clubs in the county.  All the clubs are able to give you an introduction to the sport.  Most are able to loan you Bowling Shoes and Bowls to use for free.  Should you take up the Sport and wish to progress then there are qualified coaches available to give you further instruction on how to improve your game.
