As another month ends it means the Club is one month nearer to opening for a new season. Despite, the rain, wind and frost the green is looking in decent shape and thanks must go to Ted for keeping a weather eye on it over the winter months.

During February the Club ran a Coffee Morning which was successful. However, numbers were down due to many members suffering from various lurgies or other nasty ailments. A very successful lunch time quiz was a huge hit with those members and friends who braved the elements. It was a close-run thing between the two leading teams with only one point deciding the overall winners. Thanks to Katie and Simon for providing the main course and the ‘bakers’ of lovely cakes.

On Thursday March 8 there will be a Coffee Morning from 10 -12 and on Friday March 23 at 7.00pm Pauline will be running her popular Beetle Drive for which there is a cost of £3.50. Tea and coffee will be available but you may bring other drinks of your choice!

Details of the Club’s pre-season meeting and clear up day will follow later.
