The objective of the British Isles Women’s Bowls Council (BIWBC) is to promote the sport of Lawn Bowls and to organise and control the British Isles International Series and Championships annually. 

The members of the BIWBC are England, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales.

The Senior International Championships and Series are held during Week 24 and Week 25 each year. All five members of the BIWBC participate in the Championships and Series.

The Junior International Championships and Series are held during Week 29 each year. Jersey do not currently participate in this event.
