The Brush Bowls Club, Watermead lane, Nanpantan Road, Loughborough.
The club is located on the nanpantan sports area were the tennis, cricket and football areas are.
At the Brush BC. we play flat green bowls. The outdoor season starts in April ends in early September
The Brush BC plays league and friendly games, these are played between teams in the Leicestershire area. These are played most days of the week. They could be either a league game between Gents, Ladies or mixed matches. We also have friendly games played between members of the club, these games are known as roll ups or chummies, you will find these are played on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We also arrange friendlies on Friday evenings all members can join in and from late June to late August we organise a BBQ on these evenings all welcome. The club house is stocked with a good selection of beers and wine or non alcoholic drinks and is open to non members as well as members and for those who wish to just watch bowling.
Bowling is played by all,any gender or any person that has any type of disability. It can be played by the young and by those of a mature age. People also tend to play bowls that have been in sport most of there life and then want a more relaxed sport to play
You may ask what happens when the season closes, well we do have a good social side of Brush BC . During the closed months we organise dances, quizzes and on Friday evenings this year we hope to have a games evenings where we can all get together and play darts, dominoes and short mat bowls.
