Bude Farmers Market

The Canal Wharf

The Canal Wharf, Bude Farmers Market

The Canal Wharf at Bude is a great place to visit, not only is there the market in the summer, but also eateries such as cafes, tea rooms, ice-cream stands, The Brendon Arms public house serving good local beer and lovely food, and The beautiful Falcon Hotel.

There are various workshops housing local artisans spreading all the way from just by the sea lock gates right along the canal side to the road bridge.

You can hire a rowing boat or pedaloe and explore the canal further inland, or walk along the various footpaths into the wildlife reserve. You can feed the ducks and swans and watch the Cormorant fishing and sunning itself on the canal side.

Finally is Bude Castle housing the Museum and often exhibitions of local artists' work. Come down and explore and have a great day out.
