Neighbourhood Plan

Cannock Wood Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan

The Neighbourhood Plan 2022-2039 contains policies for guiding development affecting Cannock Wood Parish.  It is used to help determine planning applications in the Cannock Wood Parish and guide other planning-related decisions.  The Neighbourhood Plan was formally ‘made' (adopted) as part of the Local Plan by Cannock Chase District Council on 24th January 2024.

The plan and further details of the process can be found on the Neighbourhood Planning pages of Cannock Chase District Council’s website www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk.

Non-Designated Heritage Assets

There are two Scheduled Monuments within the parish, and the development of a Neighbourhood Plan provided the opportunity to recognise those other buildings and sites which make positive contribution to the local character and sense of place because of their heritage value for Cannock Wood. The formal list of Non-Designated Heritage Assets can the viewed and downloaded from this website.
