The club offers high quality playing facilities and a friendly environment.  We invite bowlers of all ages, experienced or not to enjoy our facilities.
We have six outdoor lawn rinks which open April until September and two indoor short mats.  There is a regular programme of matches throughout the year on the short mat and during the Summer months on the outdoor rinks.  Matches are held both home and away on both the short mat and Lawn rinks.

Our short mat bowls hall is the only permanent short mat hall in the area and is available to members all year round, 7 days a week with sessions from 9.30am to 12.30pm, 2.00pm - 5.00pm and 7.00pm - 10.00pm.  For details about our social roll-up days/times, competitions etc. please contact the club. Since Covid, for the benefit of members, a Bowls England approved ventilation system has been installed in our short mat hall.

We have a licensed bar, kitchen, lounge/function room with events taking place throughout the year.  These have recently included a fish and chip supper, quiz, coffee mornings and a "fun" day for members, and in future may again include social evenings, bingo, beetle drives, etc. perhaps a BBQ in the Summer and a Christmas meal.

October/November is a popular time for a bowling weekend in Torquay, giving members a chance to bowl against other teams and enjoy good food and entertainment.

If you are looking for good company and gentle exercise, why not give bowls a try?  Club telephone number 01460 63799, or email bowling.chardbc@gmail.com
