Local Plans

The Local Plan for Buckinghamshire. This is currently in production by Buckinghamshire Council. Chearsley Parish Council is following the work closely and submitted a detailed response to the early draft version published in November 2025.

Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan (VALP) 2013-2033. This the current local plan. It will be replaced by the Local Plan for Buckinghamshire

Chearsley 2014 is a local village plan produced by the residents of Chearsley. It is not a Neighbourhood Plan.

The Village Appraisal Summary Report was issued in 1988.

Conservation Area

This is the original Conservation Area document prepared by the then AVDC in 1976.
