SHORT MAT TRIPLES LEAGUE

MATCHES RESCHEDULED FOR 13 MARCH (ROUND 1) ARE NOW CANCELLED DUE TO DIFFICULTIES OF TRAVEL IN RACE WEEK. TRIPLES LEAGUE HAS NOW FINISHED (except for any games you want to catch up - mats will be down all week 11-15 March, as there are no skittles matches).

Almost all change: the withdrawal of one team, leaving a 13 team league, means that we can now use the tournament module as usual. However, it also means that the fixture list has had to be revised: now one team will have a bye on every match day, but the reduced number of matches allows the league programme to complete in 13 weeks. A new fixture card has been issued and the fixtures are all on the online club calendar, which includes the exact timings for games. You can also download a printed copy of the fixture list from the link below.

Please note particularly that in November and February  we will be playing weekly games. Fortunately, the decreased number of skittles matches allows these extra dates and this is the only way to fit all the games into the season. '

There are no spare slots to play postponed matches on Wednesdays, so if you miss a game you will have to find an alternative time and date (Monday evenings are always free and some Tuesdays, as there are fewer skittles teams playing on our alley). Since so many are playing, there is at the moment only one substitute player available, so please try to play your matches on the scheduled date. As always please let me (Andy Todd) know of any rearranged dates.

Results will appear here as normal but be aware that there are bugs in the system, which mean that teams will not necessarily be in the correct order (particularly if they are only separated by shot difference).
