Refurbishment Plans

We want your view!

We now have a revised scheme which has the backing of the regular users and committee. We believe the new plans create a significantly better amenity whilst preserving the charm of the original building. Please take time to view these plans, posted below.  village has an important decision to make, this project will be a significant undertaking, the cost is estimated to be in the region of £350,000, plus planning and associated costs. We have engaged a specialist fund raising consultancy Stefan Lipa to help.

The Village Hall Committee needs to be confident of the following:-

  1. The village community agrees that this is an important and necessary project for Cheriton
  2. We will have volunteers to sit on a new fundraising committee and help run events
  3. Specialist help with the building project it self.

Please complete the questionnaire you have received at home and attend the meeting on 21st June (from 7.30 pm) in the hall.

To view the plans please click on the pdf files below, or visit the display in the village hall
