Historic Documentation

Following an audit of all the parish council documents, it was found that sadly, all the minute books of the parish council before 1981 have been destroyed/lost at some point. Documents of the Parish Council and village voluntary group documents, held at the County Archives are:

  • Clayworth Parish Council Accounting Statements 1951,1950,1949,1947,1946,1945,1944 1941,1940, 1938, 1937,      1936, 1935, 1934, 1933, 1932, 1927, 1926, 1925, 1924, 1923
  • Clayworth Parish Council Receipt & Payments Accounts Ledger 1911-1933
  • Clayworth Parish Leisure activity Committee papers (1984-1987) – Playground Committee
  • Clayworth Glebe Pond Refurbishment Papers & Parish Council Centenary Papers 1994
