Clive Parish Council
Clive Village Hall and Clubs
Clive Village Hall is the main meeting point for the villagers. It is used most days of the week both in the day and in the evening for a great variety of activities. These include evening classes in upholstery, flower-arranging local history, art and other educational areas of study, as well as Bingo, dances and discos for the residents. The children use the Hall as a Youth Club and Amateur Dramatics for both children and adults takes place here. The Village club near the Village Hall was built by the grandfather of Louise Page. Her father also restored it in 1983. This club now houses a bar and a room for darts, pool and snooker. It is hired out for private functions such as parties and Country and Western evenings.

A big thank you goes to RAF Shawbury for their volunteers who help in the community.
Ten young air traffic control trainees from the RAF and NAVY came to Clive one rainy Saturday morning on April 1st to paint the outside walls of Clive club, because of the rain, they could not actually paint and so wire brushed and washed all the walls to prepare for painting which they did the next day Sunday, and what a great job they did two coats of paint and the club looks so much improved and weather protected. What a great bunch of people they were. Very much appreciated by Clive village. the club and bar is open Thursday, Friday and Monday evening and could be more if required, it has a full size snooker/billiards table in very good shape ready to use, pool table and of course darts and dominoes. It is also available for bookings should it be required.
