No doubt members are looking forward to the beginning of the 2018 outdoor season - hopefully during a lovely British summer, whatever that may be.

Things go quiet during the closed season, unless of course members play indoors - many Collingwood members do - which ensures the ever ending humour and not least, the competition continues.

However, the club does remain active during the closed season in the form of the monthly committee meetings which concentrate on how best the club can function for the benefit of our members, e.g: the condition of the green, the progress on our new Club House plans, social evening etc.

The one person kept ever busy - Fabian - our Club Secretary, is always available for any comments or suggestions, contact details as usual.

On a more serious note, it is understood that some of our members have not escaped the dreadful flu bug currently going around. A special word to them "Get well soon"
