Throughout the summer season from April to September, we play  a wide range of bowls ideal for all ranges of bowlers, competitively in both League and Championship levels, and friendly matches against  a wide range other local clubs, as well as hosting  our own club competitions. We also have 3 fixtures where we have coaches for fixtures against Ryde IOW, Windsor Great Park, Middleton on sea, always a favourites  for an excellent day out. Bowlers and partners-family welcome. The majority of  matches take place during afternoons, evenings and at weekends. We also have informal practice sessions every week, usually on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The club in line with many other clubs has a dress code and we ensure standards of dress are required for matches , however when practising or rolling up we are relaxed at our practice sessions when casual dress is acceptable, including shorts, and we try to create a social and relaxed atmosphere.

Membership of the Club is open to men and women of all ages and abilities; at present it stands at around 52, spans a wide age range,  we always welcome new members. Hence our Annual" Introduction  To Bowls" day in April or May. We have qualified coaches for those who would like to improve their skills and all free. There is no obligation on members to play in any of the competitive matches and members tend to find they play at the level at which they are comfortable. the club also provide free Wi Fi access, and bar meals or snacks are available from Cantelo's our resident caterers
