Sandals on Greens

A range of policies exists among District clubs regarding the wearing of (open-toed) sandals on greens. These are shown here (as at 2019), but please check with each club/association/venue for latest info:

• Bedhampton, Bridgemary, Crofton, Fareham, Gosport, Leigh Park, Milton Park (inc Priory), Pembroke Gardens, Portchester, and Rowner:
  • At the player's own risk
• Lee-on-the-Solent:
  • For medical reasons only – but at own risk due to no coverage by insurance
• Cowplain and Northern Parade (inc Gas and Vospers):
  • Only on production of a written disclaimer
• Cosham, Denmead, Emsworth, Forton, Hayling Island, Naismith, Purbrook Heath, Waterlooville:
  • Not allowed at all
• Alexandra (inc Portsmouth WaterCo), Clanfield (new club), College Park, Lockswood, Waverley (inc Star&Crescent):
  • Not known
