Members' Contact Data Management
The Assistant Secretary is responsible for creating, managing and publishing within the Club the lists of members (Regular, Temporary, 'Friends') and their selected contact details. These lists constitute 'personal information' within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), which requires this data to be protected. What we do and how we protect this data is part of our Data Protection Policy.
The document below defines how files listing Members' (Regular and 'Friends of Crofton') contact details are to be managed and processed in line with our Data Protection Policy, in context of publication and selected distribution of these soft-copy files and hard-copy listings. It includes the text of 'watermarks' applied to all such published listings, in both soft-copy and/or hard-copy formats.
The document is password-protected for Club Members' and specifically for selected Club Officials' use only. Club members wishing to be reminded of the password should contact the Assistant Secretary.
