Local Plan Examination Starts

On 20 November 2018 the long-awaited examination in public of the local plan opened. This is an important step in the process to of getting a local plan in place and the last major hurdle in that process.

The examination is run by a planning inspector who goes through all the significant objections that have been raised in the regulation 19 consultation and those parties who have requested to be present are represented.
