A children's event and a village art and craft exhibition
Cuddesdon has a newly re-furbished village hall for hire. Dating back to 1880s when it was built as the Village Reading Room, it retains its original character together with modern facilities. Set in the middle of fantastic countryside with far-reaching views and opening onto the recreation ground, it has one large hall, which can seat 100 people in comfort.
Functions
Regular uses of the hall include:
• Formal meetings - Parish Council
• Groups and societies - Women's Institute, Mother and toddlers
• Film club
• Monthly coffee morning
• Parties and children's birthday parties
• Bonfire party supper
Facilities
The main hall is light and spacious, looking out over the recreation ground. It has a pull-down screen for projecting films and power-point presentations. A door from the main hall opens directly onto the recreation ground and the play equipment. There are tables and chairs (These can all be hired separately).
Kitchen
There is a modern fitted kitchen with stove and microwave. It has a hob, oven and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, glasses and cutlery. There is a serving hatch into the main hall. Please ask for details of local caterers if you want someone else to cook.

Access
Access is on one level from the street. There is a small slope from the pavement into the building. There is a fully-equipped disabled toilet.
Car parking
Car parking is in the street. For large events, the College have agreed to make space available for car parking, when possible and by prior arrangement. Please mention this when making your booking.
Location
The Hall is in the main street in Cuddesdon. Cuddesdon is about 5 miles south east of Oxford, reached from the Oxford ring road through Horspath or from the M40 through Wheatley.
