Captain/Organiser Role - All Match Types

The role, responsibilities, tasks and procedures of Match Captain and/or Match Organiser for any type of Match are described here.

For League matches (a P&D Men's League Match, a P&D Ladies' League Match, or a G&F Mixed Triples League Match), additional elements exist, which are described in supplementary documents referenced below.

Note there are further supplementary responsibilities, relating to safeguarding, which fall to the Match Captain/Organiser where a Young Person is involved, in either the Crofton team, or the opposing team. Such responsibilities are highlighted and referenced below.

Team Captains / Match Organisers must ensure they are familiar with the safeguarding policies, procedures and guidances of the club, particularly regarding Young Persons, and for the execution and upholding of which they, as Team Captains, are responsible before, during, and after matches, in respect of their team, and, for home matches, in relevant circumstances to inform all other club members at the green.
