Captain/Organiser Role - All Match Types
The role, responsibilities, tasks and procedures of Match Captain and/or Match Organiser for any type of Match (other than a P&D Men's League Match, a P&D Ladies' League Match, or a G&F League Match), for each of which the role and procedures document is available elsewhere on this website) are described here.

Note there are further supplementary responsibilities, relating to safeguarding, which fall to the Match Captain/Organiser where a Young Person is involved, in either the Crofton team, or the opposing team. Such responsibilities are highlighted and referenced below.
Available elsewhere on this website are responsibilities and protocols specifically for P&D BA Men's League Matches, Ladies' P&D WBA League Matches, and Gosport & Fareham Mixed Triples League Matches. These are in addition to (not replacing) any shown on this page.
Team Captains / Match Organisers must ensure they are familiar with the safeguarding policies, procedures and guidances of the club, particularly regarding Young Persons, and for the execution and upholding of which they, as Team Captains, are responsible before, during, and after matches, in respect of their team, and, for home matches, in relevant circumstances to inform all other club members at the green.
