DUNSTABLE TOWN BOWLS CLUB LTD

offers a warm welcome to all

We are a friendly Bowls Club and encourage new members to join. You do not need any special equipment apart from a pair of flat shoes/trainers, the rest we provide.

The game of Bowls can be played by any age group from 8 to 80+, and is open to both able bodied and less able bodied players.

INTERNAL TWO WOODS COMPETITION - 31st May 2025

What a great day we had at the club on Saturday. Mike Hughes did a great job organising the comp (which was not easy). We were helped enormously by the weather, sunny but not too hot so we were all able to play or watch comfortably.

It was a knock out competition and several rounds were played by the eventual winners. They must be exhausted! Pete Sieling was the runner up and the winner was Terry Brunton. It was a close call and exciting to watch. Well done to all concerned and a special mention of June Cripps the only female member who got through to the semi final but sadly missed out on a prize. However all was not lost as she managed to win the spider event. Well done to all who participated in making this a very successful day.

Paul Goodman bullied us all into parting with our money to enter the raffle. A great sum of £70 was raised to put towards a security camera for the club.
