DGPC Meeting 11th December 2018 - 2nd UPDATE

2nd UPDATE

Berkeley Homes will attend tomorrow’s meeting (as originally planned) in order to present details of their proposals for the DG site (MX50). The site will not be included at all in the Regulation 19 consultation which is expected to commence on 18th December (and run for 6 weeks and 5 days). However, Berkeley Homes have not only proposals for the full site but apparently also initial proposals for the site excluding the DGPC land.

SDC and Berkeley Homes are expected to present information followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

UPDATE

At Sevenoaks District Council's Cabinet meeting on 6th December it was agreed that the MX50 site (referred to as 'land to the east of the village hall') in Dunton Green will NOT proceed to the next consultation phase of the local plan process.

This being the case, the Berkeley Homes presentation of its proposal for that site has been cancelled. There will still be a presentation from the SDC's Planning Policy Team regarding the local plan process (how the plan has been developed thus far, the next stages, the role of the Planning Inspectorate, and so on).

As is usual, the Parish Council's meeting takes place at 7.30pm at the Pavilion on the second Tuesday of the month. Members of the public are always welcome to attend Parish Council meetings.

At the December meeting there will be presentations from SDC's Planning Policy Team regarding the Local Plan process and from Berkeley Homes in relation to their site in Dunton Green (which is expected to be allocated in the next stage of Local Plan). There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentations. However, please note that this part of the agenda must be time-limited in order to allow all business on the agenda to be completed.
